Cooperation between VELA and its suppliers

The performance of suppliers has a direct impact on our success and the one of our customers. Therefore, our purchasing department always attempts to ensure the ideal mix between price and performance of our components which we typically buy from external sources and aims to establish long-term relationships with the most efficient and innovative suppliers.

We want to strengthen and expand our position as a provider of innovative and high-quality assembled components. Therefore, our focus during the production process is directed solely on our core competences which means that the performance of our suppliers is of particular importance.

Suppliers have to provide products and services:

• at reasonable prices
• eco-friendly and fast
• with short lead times and great flexibility

Furthermore, we prefer regional service providers and support the integration of people with disabilities in the working life by allocating specific contracts to corresponding associations.
